Our New Home!!!

Yes all, we bought our first new home! Isn't it beautiful! I know it is a little big, but we can grow into it! JUST KIDDING!
Scott and I took Kristina to Newport Rhode Island, where all the mansions are from the very wealthy families of the 1920's. This is the Breakers, owned by the Rockefeller's. Rockefeller's made their fortune in Railroads. Newport, RI is about 3 hours away from NYC. We took a day trip up there to grab some clam chowder and tour the BIG mansions. It was super fun!

Newport Rhode Island with My Sister Kristina!

Kristina, my sister came to New York a couple of weeks ago. We had SO much fun shopping and just hanging out! Thanks for coming to see me Kris! Love ya!

CENTRAL PARK

It is so easy to take beautiful pictures in Central Park. We love it. Scott took this picture a couple of weeks ago when we rented bikes and rode them up the Hudson River and then through the park. What a pretty day!

We love our NYC APT!

To the left is the veiw from our front room window. It looks up Broadway into Time Square!! New Years was awesome last year.

This is what the view from our roof deck looks like. We have fallen in LOVE with Central Park! It is our place of solace! The trees are very green now, but soon to change!

The beautiful sunsets of the NYC are the tapestries of our window that faces west. We are so lucky! We had to snap a picture of this one, it was breathtaking. Of coarse pictures never do our views justice.

St. Martain, yeah baby!

Scott and I went to St. Martain for a week and a half Aug.24-Sept.2. It was SO relaxing, just what we needed!

This was in Anguilla as the sun set, it was super romantic!!!

Scott and I went on an excursion to Creole Rock. We drove our own little boats like this one and snorkled in the clear blue water. It was incredible, we saw sting rays, baracuda, jelly fish, and tons of tropical fish!
We went to Anguilla, which is an island 45 minute boat ride from St. Martain. It was AMAZING! It had the white powder like sand and clear aqua colored water, it was like a scene from a post card!

Fishing fun on the 4th of July!

On the 4th of July, Scott, Mom T, Dad T, and I went deep sea fishing. It was a BLAST! We woke up very early on Friday morning and drove out to Sheep’s Head Bay in Brooklyn and hopped on the Brooklyn VI boat. Little did we know this boat was full of ONLY fisherman! We stuck out like a sore thumbs! Here we were totally tourists, Mom and Dad was dressed in their nice shirts and slacks (they didn't know they would be going fishing), I was in my swim suit, thinking I would get a tan, and Scott was in his flip flops, BOY were we in for a trip! 15 fish later and fish gutted cloths, we were laughing all the way home about our hilarious fishing frenzy.
The boat had a fish finder and so when they would sound the horn we all threw our lines in and started franticly reeling fighting blue fish in the boat. Once we caught the fish the boatmen would use a graft to pull the fish aboard and then the fish would just flap around until they would die. So needless to say, there was a lot of fish guts flying around. I don't think Mom and Dad will wear those cloths they wore again! Also the fish had teeth and so flip flops weren't the best idea for shoes, whoops! Anyway we were the entertainment on the boat for the fisherman, by the end of the trip we had all the fisherman and boatmen (the guys that worked on the boat whom we could not tell the difference), joking and hanging out with us. It was a day we will never forget!

AMAZING VIEW from our APARTMENT!!

YES this is the veiw from our roof top deck of our apartment! Forget about the Empire State building or Top of the Rock, we have the top of 211 West 56th street!!! No just kidding, but really, we have finally found the perfect place for us to live in New York City! We are SO happy on the West Side of Manhattan. We live on Broadway and 56th street. Our apartment is on the 27th floor and has two corner windows that look out over Times Square and the Hudson River into New Jersey. We are SO happy there!

Beautiful sunsets in Naples Florida! What a sight!!!!

Fan Boat Fun!

The Everglades in Naples. We took a fan boat tour of the swamps, it was more like a ride at a theme park. It was a blast!

Naples Florida, it was beautiful and SO relaxing. We stayed in the Hilton for the first night and then stayed in an AMAZING resort on the beach on Scott's company. It was SO fun. Naples has the most beautiful sunsets!
